Kitty Playland - Complete with fun tropical surroundings, our kitty playland is the perfect getaway for your feline friend!

Suite Features -  Total pampering in each suite includes daily room service, meals given in your cat's own food and water dishes, a private litter box, a padded fleece bed (specially designed to hold in your pet's body heat for added comfort),  a sleeping shelf and full-sized fleece blanket for nighttime cuddling, comforting room nightlights, and caring and attentive caregivers!

And as a special feature, each suite contains its own large, multi-level climbing play tree - perfect for those afternoons when your kitty feels like scratching or jumping around.

Daily Activities - It's important to us that your kitty feel comfortable and "at home" in its new surroundings, so we schedule one-on-one playtimes with each guest and encourage him/her to step outside the suite to explore the exciting tropical surroundings or play in our large play area (complete with window views of the gardens below), full of various toys, tunnels, and climbing structures.  There's even a comfy window seat overlooking the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and outside garden - just perfect for an afternoon snooze!

Meals - Sometimes new surroundings and food can make tummies sensitive and upset, leading to symptoms such as diarrhea or vomiting.  To help prevent this, we now ask owners to bring their own food for their kitty's stay with us.

Probiotics - As mentioned above, all areas of the digestive track are vulnerable to becoming upset when introduced to a new surrounding or new variety of food.   When necessary, 'Ohana Pet Paradise uses Purina Vet Probiotic* chicken-flavored packets to help regulate your animal's digestive and bowel systems.  What are probiotics?  Probiotics are live microorganisms (in most cases, bacteria) that are similar to beneficial microorganisms found in the human gut. They are also called "friendly bacteria" or "good bacteria."  Not only do they balance the level of healthy flora in your cat's tummy, but they also help to build-up a system's immune system.  When your cat or kitten is experiencing internal irregularities, probiotics will be its best friend.   *Purina Vet Probiotics are kept on hand and given, when deemed appropriate, for a nominal fee.
