We believe that "popoki" ("cats" in Hawaiian) deserve the same pampered treatment as their canine counterparts, which is why we devoted a separate floor to cats!

Popoki Playland - Complete with a large, fresh-water fish tank (for observational purposes only - no fishing allowed!) and fun tropical surroundings, popoki playland is the perfect getaway for your feline friend!

Suite Features -  Total pampering in each suite includes daily room service, delicious meals and snacks in sanitized food and water dishes, a private litter box, a padded fleece bed (specially designed to hold in your pet's body heat for added comfort),  a sleeping shelf and full-sized fleece blanket for nighttime cuddling, a comforting nightlight, and very caring and attentive caregivers!

And as a special feature, each suite contains its own large, multi-level climbing play tree - perfect for those afternoons when your kitty feels like scratching or jumping around.   A special feature of Popoki Playland is the kitty phermone dispensers located throughout the entire Playland.  These special dispensers release scents like those given off by mother cats, helping your cat feel at ease and comfortable in the new environment.

Daily Activities - It's important to us that your kitty feel comfortable and "at home" in its new surroundings, which is why we have one-on-one play time with each guest and encourage him/her to step outside the suite to explore the exciting tropical surroundings or play with the various toys, tunnels, and climbing structures.  There's even a comfy window seat overlooking the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.  Or guests can lounge by the fish tank and dream of fish snacks. It's all your kitty's choice!

Meals - Sometimes new surroundings and food can make tummies sensitive and upset, leading to symptoms such as diarrhea or vomiting.  To help prevent this, owners are encouraged to bring their own food for their kitty's stay with us.  If, however, you would like for us to provide the meals, it's not a problem.  We are pleased to serve Purina Indoor Cat Blend at no additional charge to you.

Probiotics - As mentioned above, all areas of the digestive track are vulnerable to becoming upset when introduced to a new surrounding or new variety of food.   When necessary, 'Ohana Pet Paradise uses Purina Vet Probiotic chicken-flavored packets to help regulate your animal's digestive and bowel systems.  What are probiotics?  Probiotics are live microorganisms (in most cases, bacteria) that are similar to beneficial microorganisms found in the human gut. They are also called "friendly bacteria" or "good bacteria."  Not only do they balance the level of healthy flora in your cat's tummy, but they also help to build-up a system's immune system.  When your cat or kitten is experiencing internal irregularities, probiotics will be its best friend.
