Some animals tend to grow long hair around the inner-ear chamber or inside the ear. Not properly caring for this hair can lead to possible matting (which is very painful for your pet) or serve as a breeding ground for germs and/or additional wax.
For a nominal fee, we will gently clean any excess ear wax from the top ear chamber, as well as trim and/or gently pluck any unnecessary hairs from the canal entrance, ensuring a clean ear.
If requested, we will even trim long hair on the outside of the ear and shape it to the ear, thus ensuring proper air movement to the ear.
Please note: At 'Ohana Pet Paradise, we never enter the ear canal to remove wax, as this can lead to wax impaction. We only gently remove any excess wax buildup from the top portion of the ear with a soft cotton ball.
